Jefferson ISD offers

$2,000 Above Base 

$5,000 New Teacher stipend (for any certified teacher new to Jefferson ISD) 

$400 per class period stipend for teaching tested subjects

$1,000 Masters or $1,500 PhD stipend for teaching related areas

Fully approved Teacher Incentive Allotment District (up to $24,000)

$50,000 Paid Life Insurance

$225 District Contribution toward TRS Medical Benefits

Reimbursement for non-use of local days
